Regarding Health Issues
Generally, appointments are scheduled every 4 weeks until the 28th week, every 2 weeks between 28–36 weeks, and weekly from the 36th week until birth. In special conditions (multiple pregnancy, diabetes, hypertension, etc.), intervals are personalized.
Screening is recommended between the ages of 21–65. Between ages 21–29, a smear test every 3 years; between ages 30–65, an HPV test every 5 years or HPV+smear (co-testing) is appropriate. More frequent follow-ups are planned in cases such as abnormal results or immunosuppression. HPV vaccination may be considered as a preventive option 💡
Painful periods, pain during intercourse, chronic pelvic pain, and sometimes infertility may occur. Diagnosis includes examination, ultrasound, and laparoscopy in selected cases. Treatment is individualized and may involve pain control, hormonal options, and laparoscopic surgery for appropriate patients.
If you are under 35 and pregnancy has not occurred after 12 months of regular unprotected intercourse, or if you are 35 or older and no pregnancy occurs after 6 months, evaluation is recommended. Initial steps include assessing ovulation, hormone profile, uterus–tubes, and semen analysis; further tests are arranged if needed.
Age, fertility plans, menstrual pattern, smoking, and accompanying medical conditions are considered. We evaluate the pros and cons of methods such as pills, IUD, implant, injection, barrier, and natural methods during the examination, also taking into account special conditions like breastfeeding and migraine. ✅
